Contact Crimes The criminal offense of breaking and entering a building illegally for the purpose of committing a crime in that building.

Aggravated Robbery The act in which property belonging to another is taken without that person's consent.

Other Crimes The act of firing a weapon in order to hit, wound, or kill someone or something.

How to Post an Incident

In order to post an incident on Crime Aware, you will need to sign up as a member. There are 3 types of members or contributors to Crime Aware.

Public Member

As members of the public, you and I stand to benefit from the free service that this website provides. We become informed about incidents that occur in our area nad become more aware of the levels of crime that pose a danger to us. In turn we can become more vigilant and cautious where we need to be.
The public can also post incidents to let others around them know what is happening and these can be posted annoymously as well. The more we share knowledge the better we can make our country.

Years ago neighbours did not have high walls and people used to speak to your neighbour, nowadays we hardly know our neighbours. We hope that Crime Aware can break down some of these barriers through knowledge pooling and sharing.
